Pints for a Purpose: Freedom USA's Quarterly Blood Drive

We at Freedom USA helped save dozens of lives by hosting a OneBlood Blood Drive on April 17th, 2024. This remarkable event brought together individuals from all walks of life, uniting under the common goal of contributing to a noble cause. Every quarter since 2006, we have had the Oneblood bus roll up to our business and our staff gives back by donating Blood. Since March 2006, we have hosted over 70 blood drives and have collected almost 1,000 units of blood.

As the OneBlood bus rolled into our headquarters in Odessa, Florida, 10 of our dedicated staff members from Freedom came forward to donate blood, selflessly giving of themselves to support those in need. Oneblood informed us that they got 8 good units, which will help save 24 lives. Their altruistic gesture serves as a testament to the values of empathy and generosity deeply ingrained within our company.

The significance of blood donation cannot be overstated. Every drop collected has the potential to save lives, offering hope and relief to individuals facing medical emergencies. According to a statistic from OneBlood, “every two seconds of every day, someone needs blood.” Through initiatives like the OneBlood Blood Drive, we reaffirm our commitment to serving our community and upholding the fundamental principle of caring for one another.
