Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential customers through prospecting.
  • Expand customer relationship by selling Freedom’s products and services.
  • Comfortable selling via outbound telephone calls, email, and social media.
  • Managing outbound and inbound calls, e-mails, customer orders, and general workflow.
  • Manage the sales process for new and existing customers while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Negotiate with customers and suppliers.
  • Building relationships with B2B customers.
  • Account management.
  • Established account base desired.
  • Industry experience required.

Quality Assurance Manager

Job Overview:

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems that ensure products and processes meet customer requirements, industry standards, and company objectives. This role leads continuous improvement initiatives, manages quality personnel, and serves as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, audits, and corrective actions. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Quality Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company Quality Management System (QMS). 

  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. 

  • Establish quality objectives, metrics, and reporting systems to monitor performance. 

  • Lead internal audits and coordinate external customer or certification audits. 

  • Maintain document control procedures, quality records, and inspection standards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes using root cause analysis tools. 

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving process capability, and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities. 

  • Collaborate with operations, sales, purchasing, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor quality inspectors, technicians, and quality associates. 

  • Provide training on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. 

Customer & Supplier Quality

  • Act as the primary contact for customer quality concerns and complaints. 

  • Coordinate responses to customer corrective action requests (SCARs). 

  • Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance. 

  • Work with suppliers to resolve non-conformances and improve product quality.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer-specific requirements. 

  • Prepare and present quality reports to management. 

  • Maintain calibration systems and inspection equipment programs. 

 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or related field preferred

  • 5+ years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience. 

  • Strong understanding of quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or IPC standards.

  • Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 

Preferred Qualifications
  • ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE). 

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, distribution, or electromechanical components. 

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in an office and warehouse environment.

Work Location: Onsite Odessa, Florida

Reports To: Director of Warehouse Operations

Pay: From $80,000.00-$90,000 per year
