ISO 13485:2016
Freedom is ISO 13485:2016 certified, which is the Quality Management System for Medical Devices. Our processes are aligned with medical devices regulatory regulations to prioritize patient safety. Our purchasing, inspection and record controls ensure that we provide high quality parts and maintain records to support medical devices customers for years.
AS9120:2016 and ISO 9001:2015
Freedom is AS9120:2016 certified, which is the Quality Management System for independent distribution supporting the highly regulated space and defense industries. This standard includes all ISO 9001:2015 requirements plus industry specific requirements for supplier controls, auditing, counterfeit mitigation systems, and reporting to agencies. Our regulated industries’ processes and partners are developed through risk-based thinking to protect our customers and mission critical applications.
DLA Certification: Defense Logistics Agency
Freedom is Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime certified for electronic component distribution programs of Qualified Suppliers List of Distributors (QSLD), and Qualified Testing Suppliers List (QTSL). The agency is the Department of Defense combat logistics support responsible for contracting and distribution of materials. Our QSLD processes demonstrate consistent requirement controls and delivery of electronic components within the DLA approved supply-chain; and our QTSL processes enable us to supply high-quality, authentic components from non-QSLD approved suppliers.
AC-00-56B
Freedom is AC-00-56B accredited, which is a voluntary Quality Management System for distribution to the civil and industrial aircraft industry. This accreditation ensures that our processes for traceability, counterfeit prevention controls, and additional organizational structures promote Freedom as a trustworthy partner that stays current with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulatory requirements.

Freedom is AS6081:2012 certified, which is the counterfeit parts avoidance, detection, and disposition system certification for independent distributors of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical parts. Our standardized processes for all our customers ensure new and authentic components are procured from reputable sources and authenticated through rigid inspection so only approved quality parts are delivered.
ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021
Freedom is ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021 certified, which is the certification to protect sensitive electronic equipment from electrostatic discharges and moisture. Our standardized component handling and storage processes safeguard our customers by controlling the handling equipment, packaging materials, and warehousing infrastructure to maintain the sensitive integrity of the parts.
